In Romanian: Tort Richard
- 8 oz / 250 ground almonds or walnuts
- 8 oz / 250 g confectioner's sugar
- 10 egg whites
- Chocolate Cream
- Chocolate Icing
- Whip the egg whites, mix with the sugar and almonds (walnuts).
- Divide the resulting paste in 3 – 4 equal parts and bake 3 – 4 sheets in the cake pan that was covered with buttered parchment paper.
- When the sheets are baked and cooled, spread Chocolate Cream on each of them, arrange one on top of the other and glaze with Chocolate Icing.
