Apple Raisin Cake

Delightful as a plain moist cake, this dessert is mouth-watering when iced with Helen's Soft Chocolate Frosting.

  1. Measure apples and brown sugar into bowl.
  2. Add oil and eggs.
  3. Add dry ingredients and mix well. This dough will be stiff.
  4. Add raisins and nuts. Stir to blend.
  5. Spread in 8-inch square pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes or until top springs back when touched. May be frozen.
